Acrylic panels offer a sleek, polished look – perfect for office spaces and customer-facing environments. They may also serve as upmarket wayfinding, finely blending function and aesthetic.
Made from sturdy plastic, acrylic panels are a 3D sign in and of themselves, but can also be projected from the wall on barrel fixings. Transparent acrylic is a popular choice, with a broader gamut of colours available as desired. Typically, clear signs are backed by reverse-printed vinyl to display messaging. Silver frosting creates a particularly glossy look.
A solid-coloured rear manifestation, with opaque lettering applied to the front of the acrylic, is also possible – enhancing the sign’s 3D look and creating shadowing inside the plastic pane itself. Although predominantly seen indoors, these panels are hard-wearing and therefore just as much of a sturdy investment as lower-budget options.
